TorqueFlite automatic,V-8 for $21,100 and the auction catalog read, "This very rare find will only go up in value." The author of the magazine article considered the AMX Javelin to be "the best buy" for those of us who want to own classic muscle cars but cannot afford to pay the typical Barrett-Jackson prices.
